President’s Charity – Sue Ryder

On the 18th of October our President Margaret Walker visited the Sue Ryder Hospice in Peterborough and presented to them a cheque for £400. Each year the Club President chooses a charity to which members can donate. This year the Club was able to donate a total sum of £1,220 to this very worthwhile cause.… more

This year our President, Margaret Walker, arranged for us to visit Worthing-on-Sea and play three bowls matches. Our hotel, the Chatsworth was located a stones throw from the promenade and provided us with with dinner, bed & breakfast and entertainment on the Saturday evening.
