A lovely summer’s day welcomed the 12 competing local sports club teams in our annual Charity Day match, this year, in aid of the Royal British Legion. Oundle Bowls Club members together with RBL organised a tombola and other games to add funds to player donations to this worthwhile charity.
Many spectators turned up to watch and enjoy the hotly contested match. This Oundle Fire team 1 led by Darren Dexter were the winners , so congratulations to them and a big thank you from our President Dawn Saunders to all who took part and supported the event. This event is becoming so popular that we may have to make it an all day event next year!
