On Tuesday last, Oundle Bowling Club hosted a friendly match between teams from Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire. Forty eight players battled over six rinks. Led by Bowls Northamptonshire President John Gunning, the Northants team claimed victory by a wide margin of 101 to 78 shots.
Two Oundle players took part in the match, Jim Mackay and Rob Kuch, with Jim skipping the the team on rink one and being the winning rink. Well done guys!
Our Chairman Mike Sheehan was the Oundle host for the day. After the match both teams retired to the clubhouse for a meal and drink at the bar, prepared and served by club volunteers.
