On the 18th of October our President Margaret Walker visited the Sue Ryder Hospice in Peterborough and presented to them a cheque for £400. Each year the Club President chooses a charity to which members can donate. This year the Club was able to donate a total sum of £1,220 to this very worthwhile cause. The Hospice is entirely funded by donations and legacy’s.
Donations were collected from members and visitors at various events throughout the year including the Open Weekend Charity Day, President’s Tour member fines and the Annual Prize Giving Dinner.
The Sue Ryder fund raising team members Donna Young and Rachel Hancock were very grateful for the donations and asked that the President thank Oundle Bowling Club members for their support
